Accessibility statement
Prepared 28 October 2026 · Applies to mssynotes.com, the web app at app.mssynotes.com and the MssyNotes app for iPhone and iPad.
The MssyNotes team at Micreations Ltd wants as many people as possible to be able to use MssyNotes. That means you should be able to:
- zoom in on the website up to 400% without text spilling off the screen;
- move around the website using just a keyboard;
- use the website and app with a screen reader such as VoiceOver, TalkBack or NVDA;
- use the app with your device's text size, dark mode and reduce-motion settings;
- read text with enough contrast against its background.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
How accessible MssyNotes is
MssyNotes is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We know some parts aren't fully accessible yet:
- Some buttons in the app don't have proper labels for screen readers yet (for example, colour swatches are read out as colour codes).
- With VoiceOver, it isn't yet possible to open or create a board from the all-boards view.
- In the web app, pinch-to-zoom is turned off on some devices, because pinching zooms the board instead.
- A few colours (our orange accent on white) don't have quite enough contrast.
- The board is a free-form visual canvas. Drawings, and the position of notes and the lines between them, can't be fully described to a screen reader.
We're working on these and will update this page as we fix them.

How we tested
This statement is based on our own review of the website and app on 28 October 2026, including keyboard and screen-reader checks and colour-contrast measurements. It hasn't yet been audited by an independent tester. We'll review it at least once a year and whenever we make a big change.
